Form and function are a single entity

In todays world if your product is purely solving for utility, most of it might not work. There is an intangible but existing value to a design that emotionally connects with the user. And it is important to do that. One of the example that came up was how Minimalism has gone too far where everything looks boxy and character-less. This ties in with the argument that UI and UX isn’t two separate entity but goes hand in hand together.
